The Division on Ministry in the Local Church supports local churches and clergy of the Northwest Association through retreats outdoor ministries, and any other means brought before the division.

In addition to our very successful Confirmation Retreats, the Division partners with Wisconsin Conference resource teams, including the Conference Youth Ministry Team and Partners in Education.

Confirmation Retreats
The Division on Ministry in the Local Church sponsors two Confirmation Retreats in October of each year. Providing Confirmation students the opportunity to learn about the wider church, the United Church of Christ, and other aspects of faith, the retreats also offer a good time! A chance to get to know youth from other churches in the Association begins to build relationships that can continue and be strengthened by participation in camping and other conference events.

As a part of our ongoing concern for the safety of all children in our care, we ask that all adults accompanying children to Northwest Association events complete a Background Disclosure Form and authorize us to perform a background check.

You will need a Medical Release form for each minor participant in your group. These forms are to be completed by the parents or guardians and returned to the church. The adult leaders of the group should collect and keep with them all the releases for their group so that they are readily available in case of emergency.
